From Plantation to Processing: What International Buyers Saw Behind Sunrise Dried Fruits

Verifying the origin and raw material handling processes at the source is a critical factor for international importers to guarantee product quality prior to exportation.

Recently, a group of international buyers visited one of Sunrise's partner fruit farms in Vietnam to see firsthand the supply chain behind our dried fruit products. Throughout the visit, they saw not only where the fruits are grown, but also how raw materials are selected and prepared before entering production.

Looking Beyond the Product

For experienced importers, evaluating a supplier goes far beyond reviewing samples or specifications. On-site raw material inspections empower partners to directly assess cultivation capacity and the actual conditions of the supply chain—technical parameters that extend beyond standard documentation.

During the farm visit, customers examined key factors that influence the quality of dried fruits:

These are details that no catalogue or product sheet can fully demonstrate — but that experienced buyers know to look for before committing to a supplier.

Quality Starts Before Processing

Following the farm visit, partners observed the sorting and grading workflow, where freshly harvested fruits undergo rigorous inspection before entering the dehydration process

At this critical stage, Quality Control (QC) specialists perform meticulous manual examinations of each batch, separating fruit based on stringent size and quality specifications. This human-centric inspection ensures that only premium raw materials proceed to production—a vital step that directly guarantees the integrity and excellence of the final consignment.

The organoleptic profiles of our dried fruits—including sweetness, color, texture, and consistency—are fundamentally established during this raw material selection process. Maintaining high standards at this phase is what enables Sunrise Ins to deliver batch-to-batch consistency, providing international buyers with the confidence needed for long-term trade partnerships.

Certified for International Markets

This commitment to quality is backed by internationally recognised certifications, including HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, FDA registration, and Kosher certification — giving buyers documented assurance for customs clearance and retail listing. Built on this regulatory foundation, Sunrise's products currently reach 92 countries and territories across retail, food service, and industrial food manufacturing sectors.

More than a Product Evaluation

Through firsthand observation, buyers gain a comprehensive understanding of our source-side Quality Control (QC) systems, operational teams, and the rigorous standards applied before any product departs from Vietnam.
