Vietnam's rice export in 2020 is estimated at 6.15 million tons

According to estimates of the inter-ministry, rice exports in 2020 will reach 6.15 million tons, worth about $ 3.07 billion. Although rice exports decreased by about 3.5% compared to 2019, mainly for the purpose of ensuring national food security, the export value increased by 9.3%. The average export price for the whole year was estimated at 499 USD / ton, up 13.3% over 2019.
